18 July commemorates the spirit of Nelson Mandela and his impact on our country. In that spirit the staff from Umfolozi Hotel Casino & Convention Centre made a significant contribution in assisting the Sinalo Cerebral Palsy Centre in Empangeni with donations of R15 000 in consumables and linen.
Jointly partnering with Nomandla Cleaning, whom assisted in doing a full spring cleaning of their newly occupied property, the main aim of The Sinalo Cerebral Palsy Centre is to meet the ever-changing needs of children with Cerebral Palsy around the Uthungulu District.
The Centre specializes in programmes to ensure the overall physical, social, emotional and intellectual support. There are over 30 children from infancy through to adolescence that the centre looks after and Umfolozi Hotel Casino & Convention Resort is proud to be affiliated with such an organization within our community. Umfolozi Casino donates R5 000 to the centre monthly for payment of rent.
One thing for sure at Umfolozi Casino, is that we shall continuously aim to strive to make everyday a Mandela day!
