Umfolozi made and impact in the local community, assisting organisations needing help to feed the people they support.

Umfolozi did a R1780  Grocery Hamper drop to the Dunamis Community Service NPO in the Ngwelezane Township. Dunamis Community Service is a growing organisation that is being run by a group of widows, who provide food for the homeless children and pensioners.

Also a R903 Cereal Drop was done at Zululand Hospice to assist the centre in the feeding for the ill who cannot eat solids. They are an NGO/NPO which provides holistic palliative care for people who are ill with HIV/AIDS AND CANCER.
